BitCoin wallet

Post by bentos »

Many of you may have heard of the crypto-currency BitCoin, well, I'm not here to explain it to you but I will say that (in paper form) it produces two bits of information: one for public consumption and the other private.

I am here in search of a more fun, or elegant, version of the following:

Although the printed design looks complicated, it's actually two small bits of information (QRcodes) that are required, the rest is just wasting ink. Is there a moving/action based origami design of which could elegantly reveal a hidden area suitably sized for a legible QR code?

I found the following which seemed promising, but not quite there:

Try a search for "Origami Puzzle Purse".

2 x 2 Envelope is perfect for that. It's rather easy to fold. Here's a blog post of the model including photo-diagrams: http://neorigami.com/neo/index.php/en/u ... 2-envelope
