Models that show off beautiful paper

Post by Releashi »

Hey there super long time no post,

I have lots of gorgeous patterned standard square origami paper that I'm hoarding and should show off! What are your favourite models for showing off gorgeous patterned paper?

Altough I'm not fond of patterned paper, I think boxes and envelopes (including tatos) are great for showing it off.

You could also cut it to smaller size and make some nice modulars. Modulars work well with patterned paper since it's the shape of the complete model rather than folds on a single unit that matter and so patterned paper which obscures individual folds ceases to be such an issue.

I feel the same I like plain for most models but I'm drawn to the lovely but patterns then don't use them
