This is my first mc batch. Somehow there were a lot of clumps. What do I do?

What ratio of water to MC are you using?
Also, it helps to let the batch cure for a day or so in the fridge before you use it.
After the fall, we rise.

Welcome to the forum Hexcagon.
Let it sit anywhere for 24 hours and it will be ok. You can stir it every once in a while. Make sure that it feels about as thick as egg white.
Quite a coincidence that only two hours ago Darkness_Dragon asked a similar question about MC...

I have found an immersion blender is a good cheat to quickly smooth MC paste out.
