What are some origami models that people here find cute. It's difficult to describe, but a good example is the Hamster by Katsuta Kyohei, or the Sheep by Roman Diaz. I think a lot of Roman Diaz, Gen Hagiwara models fall into this category. Models that are not too complex, yet still capture the essential features of the subject in a nice way, and instantly recognizable.

Gen Hagiwara is spot on there, plus there's a few other good models by Katsuta Kyohei that would count. I also think new generation of origami has quite a few good ones, and most tanteidan convention books probably do too.

Scutiegra Coleptra, Alduin, and japanese spiny lobster. This is not the sort of thing you should probably ask me
