Hand Made paper, problem

Post by giro »

I make hand made paper using 70% abaca and 30% coton. With 2 tablespoon of internal sizing. The sheet is really good formed, and this is really strong.

This is my paper.

But when i tried to fold some figure, this is not enough strong to hold figure.

The figure on the image is open.

I dont know if I make any mistake making paper, or that I need to put another additive to my paper. I use MC on it after dry, but don't help.

Anybody test laFosse paper and know if this is normal on this paper. Is possible to solve it, using 50% abaca 50% Hemp.

Any idea?

Thk.
