1000 posts doesn't seem to be so many, but there are only a few members at this forum, and therefor its a great amount of thoughts :)

what about doing a little marketing to get the word out for this group i think it is excellent but am not sure a lot of folks know how to find it. i happened on it quite by accident, actually dont even remember how i found it. and had found it once before by acident but lost my info and couldnt find it again. not sure on where and how to get it noticed but it would be worth a shot, unless you have already spread the word, then disregard all that i have mumbled(smiles) sincerely, dani

The number of posts that are made every day seem to be increasing though. Hooray!

I found this forum like dani did. On accident! It is a really nice forum though, and it has broadened my love for origami even further. So that is pretty cool! :D So lets keep posting and telling fellow origamists about this place so this forum never dies!

I found these forums when I was looking for some origami stuff on google. Hadn't heard about it before that, although I had been to a lot of origami sites before that. Maybe a little bit more advertising would help? (on the O-list for an example) These forums are much more handy then the list in my opinion. You don't get 128736182735192753 emails every day, and all the posts about one topic go in one thread instead of in ten emails.

I occasionally post to the O-List about the Forum, but it seems not a lot of people know about it. Thanks to Dennis Walker (of the Origami Database, we now had a little more publicity, and thus we an increase in new memberships.

Please feel free to promote the Forum to other Origamist whenever possible!

Domain name

Thanks for the compliments  . I'm currently thinking of a suitable domain name for the forum, origami-forum.net comes to mind. Please feel free to recommend some more URLs!

Maybe putting "the" before origami-forum would be good too, but I guess you would want to keep it short, but besides that I like it because it tells people what it is and would probably show up sooner on Google! I know this is stating my opinion more than giving suggestions but it was a sudden whim, soooooo. :) Anyways I'll keep thinking.

This is already the first site listed on a Google search for "origami forum".
