Straws for star making?

Post by Rose »

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated... Would anyone know of any links for online stores that may sell straws for star making?

These straws differ from normal drinking straws as they are longer, and are made of thinner material so that they are more flexible. The colors are also often transparent. Here's an image, if it would aid:

Hi Rose,

Welcome to the forum. My friend went through a short period folding these and said that the McDonalds straws are fairly good.

Also, you may find that your local sweet shop may sell those really long sugar straws - they're thin, translucent and strong, and plus there's the added bonus of the sweets!

The McDonalds straw's aren't too bad, just very difficult to work with. I never thought of checking out a sweets shop, and i'll definately give it a go - That's a great idea!

Thank You!
