hmm... isn't that kind of paper a rectangle? maybe you should try the dog from Montroll's "dollar bill animals in origami"... with little modification it should work.

Hi, I believe it's a "bar puzzle" type of thing and involves cutting of the cellophane somehow. I try to collect odd things like that.
