I am very interested in this book but is the Origmi website you guys are suggesting safe? i am very weary about ordering online things. Has anyone had bad experiences ordering off that site?

The phoenix would be quite a difficult model to diagram due to its three dimensionality in the shaping stage. I bet Satoshi was exhausted after he finished those Ancient Dragon Diagrams. (Roomer has it at exceeding 300 steps) Sicko...

I ordered the Lang Insect book via Origami House and they are amazing...

First I e-mailed them that I wanted to order it and was going to send in cash. Then I sent in the money and asked them to e-mail me once they received it. It was $50.

And it was amazing: within a week after they received my cash I had the book on my doorstep. And I live in Europe...

They handled it very well and quick... so you can trust them, for sure!

Too bad the phoenix and wasp aren't in the book. How are the models diagrammed?

the problem with sending cash surely isn't origami house. I would be scared that it "get lost" somehow on the way to it. even letters within germany disappear from time to time, so what could happen to letters that are completely out of the sight of the sender? I lost a couple of letters that way :/

I'm a subscriber of JOAS. I send every year my money by standard mail. In five years there is no problem. Besides, I buy four books in Origami House, with the same system, without any kind of problem.
