What do you think about Origamic Architecture

I know the Origami List had quite a few emails recently concerning the topic but I was not very interested and didn’t read hardly any of them.

I personally have not made any origamic Architecture, but it looks moderately interesting. Maybe I will try it some day.

Anybody out there that has tried it?

Yeah it's wicked (ina good way!). I remember making lots of pop up cards - they are always well received.

I think it has more in common with silhouette cutting (term?) than with origami. the stuff I saw (and made) had to be cutted and not folded.

The origamic Architecture (OA) I do involves lots of cutting and folding. Most the cuts are slits in the paper to create a pop up card.

OA is very cool, there are some resources available online - I'll try to find the links for you.

that would be nice.

of course I'm interested in any type of paper-art. in fact I tried OA maybe hundreds of years ago, and even if I'm not able to create my own stuff, it was always a nice present for people.
