Origami animals for a short film

Post by kanefilms »

Hello,

I apologize if this is off-topic.

I am shooting a short film this weekend. The main character spends time folding little origami animals. The person who was to help with the folding is no longer helping with the shoot. I tried it myself and have a new appreciation for how difficult this really is.

Would anyone in the South Florida area be willing to assist with a few small foldings? The swan at the top of this forum is what I have in mind. Simple enough to be recognizable as origami art.

Please reach me via PM or at my email at mikekane@kanefilms.com

I see no swan. There is a crane though. :)

I'm in California though, so no help there, sorry. Good luck!

I stand corrected, not that I ever suggested I know didly squat about this art.

But at least I've learned to fold a boat and a pyramid so far....

Well, if you don't find someone, folding a crane is no huge feat to do. It is a traditional model and you will find diagrams all over the place, and I'm sure if you work at it a little bit you will be able to fold one.
