My latest model (Millipede) diagrams available.

Hello

I've recently created what I consider to be my best model. It is a
millipede (well it has 20 legs).. It uses a methods of cross pleating then unlocking paper to create the many legs. It has taken a while to diagram
and since I only started designing models a while ago it is the most complex set of diagrams i have made.

If anyone wants to have a look at the millipede/the diagrams/ the website

I welcome any useful feedback on the model: i.e what steps you found hard or unclear mistakes in diagrams or any ideas or comments on the model.

wow thats really neat! its too hard for me, but i still love it. maybe it should be calle d a caterpillar?

Most people think that a millipede has 1000 legs. Some have as few as 80 legs. None have 1000. There is a species that have 750 legs

,but none have 1000.

Nice! I based my millipede on pleating and 45° angle inside reverse folds, but it doesn't work well with paper that doesn't keep its shape. It seems that your locks a lot better.

looks like yours is wayy less frustrating to fold than mine...
one of the hardest parts of diagramming is finding a good folding sequence which can be shown easily, so I'd suggest that you keep workin on that. the folding sequence totally like defines the model
