Great Origami Master Akira Yoshizawa passed away

I juts had this sad news , Akira Yoshizawa is deceased monday. :cry:

This is really a big shock to me.I'm very sad these days. :(
My First Origami book were his books.My childhood related much to his models.

Dont know what to say more, I just pray for his soul to stay in peace.

I propose to make an Origami designed by Yoshizawa and post the picture here in his honor...

some people silently change the world. that is probably the worst thing about that. I mean, that the majority of the people wouldn't even know that he existed :(

Maybe not many know about is existence, but everyone has seen and know what an Origami is. And that is very much thanks to him...
Anyway, his dead has touched very deeply all the people who love this art.
There are sure many really famous person who die and no one cares.

I have not been on the forum in a while and this is very sad news for me. I really wanted to meet him. I have greatly apreciated all of his contibutions. I even wrote a lengthy paper on him. I hope everyone close to him can handle the loss as best they can. Like Johny Carson, there will never be another Yoshizawa.
