Has anyone heard of bloom4ever? They are selling a certain "standard rose" that I remember learning from a packet of Korean rose-folding paper. It's very similar to Kawasaki's tubular rose (here) but without the leaves at the bottom.
I am wondering if anyone knows who created this rose - was it Kawasaki? It does have his characteristic twist fold, but someone told me it's a traditional/public domain model (which I doubt since traditional models are very simple and angular). I've looked all over the internet for the answer, but to no avail. I'm curious because a friend wants to make and sell these online. But if we do that to a copyrighted design without permission, that would be illegal. =( i just want to make sure I won't be violating any rights... and to obtain permission if possible to reproduce this ingenious fold to sell.
Standard Rose origin?
