Did you copy Brian Chan?

I think you're going to have a few problems trying to beat THAT.

It's in Brian's Flickr gallery: http://www.flickr.com/photos/chosetec/

What I meant was, did you decide to design this model only after seeing Brian's one?

Yes, Brian's is exceptional but golgol's is still very good, way beyond my skill level when it comes to designing models. Good job golgol!

Brian only folded that after seeing Tachi's and Horiguchi's Rozen maiden so...

As for advice on your model, chingwagolgol, I would say it's certainly a good start on a very complex model, I see that you're getting most of the important parts, and the wings are especially successful. I would recommend that you use thinner paper that is not foil; and to try folding longer arms and legs, and a bigger dress. If you look pictures of anime girls, they have long legs. Another note is to pay a lot of attention to shaping. I think most complex folders spend 90% folding base, and 10% shaping (in terms of time), but honestly I think the best origami is more like 40% folding base, 60% shaping. Ask Joisel... Kamiya...

Good luck, keep up the good work.
