Winson Chan's hacky sack ?

Post by accordionfolder »

Does anyone have a completed picture of one of these?

I've been working on one and I'm not sure how to connect some of the sides

The diagrams are available on my website.

In general, it's considered very bad form to post someone else's email address in a public forum. Spammers routinely harvest email addresses from publicly accessible websites...

Sorry. I didn't mean to scold. I figured if I said something where everyone could read it, more people would get the message. I've long felt that there's no shame in making mistakes, especially if we didn't know. As long as we're willing to 'fess up and make things right, I don't think there's any trouble at all.

So what about the requested picture? I checked the diagrams but the step before the final is like a helix and the final model looks like a wreath. I don't see how one can turn into the other even if you do the 30 units that are mentione din the diagrams.

If the picture is not possible (and even if it is) some explanation would also be helpful

the final model is not supposed to look like wreath. it's just a projection of a regular 'ball' looking from above. i've just finished the model but still didn't take the picture.
