I'd like a video tutorial on how to make a diagram with Inkscape

@4sigma: Nice fold, hope your friend likes it! I'll look into making videos on some other designs by Neil Elias. Maybe Llopio's Moment of Truth?

@fi-ori: Hm, I'm not sure whether I'm qualified to show how to diagram in Inkscape - or what would need to be shown. I think the biggest challenge is learning how to diagram, not how to use a program to make them digital.

But something totally different: I've added a section to my website that shows which models are on the top of my queue, and which designers have granted me permission for specific or all their models.

That's really nice to be able to see which designers have granted you permission.
That should help decide what models to suggest too.

hey i was wondering if you could make one on mooser's train. i can't figure out how to fold it by using only the crease pattern and a photo of the model.

4sigma, the second picture is great. At first I thought it would be the bridal couple dancing but then I realized that the candles are a bit big...

@fi-ori

I'll be glad to make a tutorial on diagramming in inkscape; there are definitely some tips and tricks I'd like to share, and the version about to come out has some really sweet snapping features.

Unfortunately, I'm super busy and being slammed with homework at school, so it may be a couple weeks or even a month before I get around to doing it.

I noticed that Chris Palmer is not on the list of designers you have contected.
His Flower Tower looks really intersting. I'd love to see a video on folding that.

I'd say Komatsu's Sheep, but it might be hard to get onto him since he probably can't speak English, and it's already diagrammed so you're unlikely to get permission. But if you can, I'd love to fold this model from one of those immensely satisfying Komatsu sequences!

My next videos are up now:

Hexagon from a square or rectangle:

Snowflake by Dennis Walker:

Next month: presumably Ralf Konrad's Star Puff

Ah, I'll first have to practice that one again. I agree that it's a good model to present in a video. I'll have to look into how to contact Chris Palmer, too.
If you showed me me how to fold Guspath Go's cat I would love you forever
Ah, I fear I'm not liking it enough to make a video on it. Yes, I know it's unfair... but that's also the reason why you won't see any airplanes in my videos etc.

Diagrams are in Tanteidan 14, which I recently purchased. I haven't tried to fold it yet, but it's definitely lots of work. Will have to look into it.

Perhaps, haven't folded it yet myself.

Definitely two risk factors. Also, I have to admit I don't have any Komatsu books (yet).
