What's the way of Gilad?
Actually, I'm still doing videos, recorded one last Saturday and edited it. However, I'm thinking about rerecording, because I'm not happy with the result, plus I'd have to do a second take for two sections, because they didn't come out clear in the video.

My next videos are:
Jack in the Box by Hugo Pereira
Apple by Shuzo Fujimoto

and then in no particular order:
a geometric model by John Montroll
a simple unpublished model by Robert Lang
maybe Neal Elias' Llopio's Moment of Truth? (haven't asked for permission yet)

You mean Gilad Aharoni, Gilad Shalit or what kind of Gilad?
Keep smiling

@Sara,

I think your videos are of great quality, especially how the indication of fold direction is 'edited in' on some of the geometric models I have seen.

Perhaps something you may consider is the use of a 2nd camera running in parallel, showing a different angle of the folding so you can cut between two angles or even do something like a split screen in difficult sections so you can see the fold progressing from two angles.

At least there should be an 'over the shoulder' angle showing the model as you (the instructor) sees it. That way the folder who is following along doesn't have to work 'upside down'.

I Aten't Dead! :P (There must be a few Terry Pratchett fans in this forum)

Getting slowly back to folding after a long hiatus of doing other things. Still keeping an eye on the forum, and will update the website soon. Right now I'm enjoying the 15th Tanteidan convention book, and Origami Essence is on its way!

Also soon, photos of my new origami-room (still under construction, but getting there).

Cheers,
Gilad

I think if I had both of these books (actually I do) I would also struggle to find time to do anything else, like updating a website.

Nice to see Gilad is still in the origami world and glad his website will keep going. I have always found it a great source of inspiration when looking for new things to fold.

The video on the Jack in a Box by Hugo Pereira is up now.

It might not be the best one I've made, but given the time constraints I had, I guess it's better than nothing. ^^

You forgot to add "snark emoticon" somebody could not be able to understand the joky sense of your post!
I am envious: I could never make a post of that kind without attracting the attention of the moderators!
Take care
