How to mount cranes on wire?

Post by ilithiya »

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to mount cranes to wires? I need to be able to use them in a floral arrangement, and I'm not quite sure how to do this without the wires poking holes in the top of the body, or mangling the bottom hole as the wire goes in.

Thanks!

Use a hot glue gun.

Floral wire is usually thin enough to insert into the bottom hole without ripping everything apart.

Otherwise, it depends on how you want the cranes mounted, eg, do you want them suspended from a wire, suspended at the end of a wire, suspended by their wings, suspended by their necks, etc, etc? Big blobs of glue usually allow you to achieve all of the above...

Expanding on the hot glue gun idea, maybe you could just make a loop in the end of the wire and glue that in. Less pokey that way.
