This was looking like a really neat, procedural origami diagramming program, until, in 2004, it stopped.
I emailed Mr. Zinger recently asking if he had any plans to keep working on it, and if not, if he would be willing to donate it to the world by releasing it as open source.
He has not replied, in about a month and a half, and I can't figure out how to comment on his blog , which he seems to check.
Has anyone heard anything? How does one comment on his blog?

I imagine that you found his email address, so I won't point to the Web page.
I'm not sure if John is currently responding to his Blog, but you have to register and log in, before you can leave comments... If you look around, you'll find a link saying something like "login here"....

Hey thanks, but I can't figure out where to register...wordpress.org only lets you register for support. I tried that, but the credentials don't work on Mr. Zinger's site. This can't be that hard...

If you already tried: http://en.wordpress.com/signup/ , then I have no other suggestions, either.

Check out the Zing Blog. It looks like John Szinger is back to developing the Foldinator.
