Origami Forum Flickr Project
Hi guys,
I'm working on a small project whereby members of the forum can tag their photos of Origami as 'OrigamiForum'. This allows us to see what our members have folded lately, much like the What have you folded lately thread. The added benefit is that the project is all managed through Flickr.
Webmasters can use the badge creators to dynamically display the last X amount of models, and the project should also (hopefully) attract more members.
For a quick demonstration, see the guide
In any case, please let me know!

It doesnt take long but you do have to edit a little.Brimstone wrote:Does it take a while to index the models? For it did not work for me. I created a Flickr account and uploaded some pics but they don't show
Once uploaded, click organize (at tthe top) , then "load all your photos", then "batch operations" & here you add the tag to each photo. I use "origami origamiforum" the later for new stuff.
......I made a flash tutorial for an easier way here

Hmm, you're right! I've tried tagging one of my photos with 'origamiforum' but the photo isn't 'released' into the Flickr stream. (JS code seems to be fine). The only photos I can see are Brimstone's.

To answer my own question:
Flickr Help Page wrote: 2. Why don't all the photos with a certain tag show up?
When you sign up for Flickr, your new account is marked as 'pending', until Flickr administrators have reviewed it to make sure you aren't posting offensive images, or junk downloaded from the web. When your account is 'pending' your photos won't show up in public photo lists, like Everyone's Photos, or pages that show all photos tagged with a certain tag.
Flickr is a website for you to use to share your photos. If the images you're uploading either (i) aren't photos, or (ii) are images you've 'borrowed', stock photos, celebrity photos, stuff that appears to be copyrighted by someone else, screenshots, porn or nudity/partial nudity, it's safe to assume that we will probably have marked you as NIPSA (Not in Public Site Areas); otherwise, your account is in the review queue, and will be attended to shortly ...
