I'll go ahead and recommend Roman Diaz' Bullfrog. It's a nice mode which benefits from the softness of Tant to capture that 3D-feeling. It is only intermediate-level though, if it's a fingerbusting challenge you're looking for.
First time posting here, I want to see your suggestions!
40 cm thin do paper
Beige(?)
30-50 gsm
Intermediate to complex, I want one that doesn't need that much mc shaping, because I don't have all the time I used to have back in summer
Make sure it's not an insect, I tried that with a mantis once and it got thick real quick!
I think this would be very good paper for some of John Montroll's dinosaurs from Prehistoric Origami. They're mostly high-intermediate and with 35 cm paper you should be able to shape the triceratops or stegosaurus well even from Tant.

i am currently doing a test fold for Coelophysis by Kamiya. If it turns out well, I'll fold it. If not, then some other dino. Thanks for the suggestions

Just got Discovery Pack from origamishop.com, and I am overwhelmed and very indecisive pls help
Everything 24x24 cm unless stated otherwise. Willing to fold complex but not super complex; anything that looks good/fits the paper
Kami (tan) 53 gsm
Kami Duo (purple/grey) 53 gsm
Tissue Foil (blue, gold, red, and yellow) 53 gsm, 20 cm
Biotope (dark brown) 55 gsm
Shadow Fold (black/iridescent black) thin, 20 cm
Unryu (orange and blue) 25 gsm, 25 gsm, 19.5 cm
Washi Deluxe (white/gold) 65 gsm
Tant (red and brown) 80 gsm
Golden river (white) 80 gsm
lizard hide (red) 110 gsm
Lokta (light brown) 55 gsm, 20 cm
Kinumomi (white) 110 gsm
Yohishi (beige) 80 gsm
Elephant Hide (greyish, like elephant skin) 110 gsm, 20 cm
Rouketsu (reddish brown with light veins) 105 gsm
Thin ocean colored paper, slightly speckled
Another thick paper (beige)
I've never used any of those kinds of paper except for the 24 cm Kami. 24cm is a good size for a 32 grid, which a lot of models use. I have a few CPs in my gallery if you want to try them.
Also, Satoshi Kamiya's coelophysis and his yellow bird work well too.
Wow. That is alot of paper. Might want do a testfold with cheaper paper before you any of these. Some ideas.
Washi. White/ gold a pegasus with golden wings. Trollip
Lizard hide. A frog. Although paper might be too thick
Lokta. Bear or a horse.
Elephant hide. Wet fold joisels rat or a rhino
Ocean colored. A fish. Grouper maybe. But paper might be too small.
Any way. You got a lot of folding to do. Enjoy!
I've got two squares of bronze/black crumpled momi paper (probably 40-50gsm; 19cm and 50cm, respectively). I pretty much only fold my designs, and I was thinking about a dragon for the smaller one. I'm open to almost anything for the larger one, but I'll have to see how it handles precreasing.
