fyi, it seems dao cuong quyet's excellent vampire will be included (in the comments section of the photo, he talks about drawing diagrams). it's not the complexity of this model i admire so much as the abstraction (the bat within a bat within a bat motif).
i also hope some of tran trung hieu's prehistoric animals or his dragon make it in there. there are already so many insects.
nicolas, i am sure giang dinh will also have some models diagrammed?...

Thanks for all your comments and propositions.
You can continue to give us idea and advice because we are yet working on the final list. I hope to be able to give you a list of model in the next months.
The book should be available, as for the others, in the autumn.
Yes Giang Dinh will have at least one model, maybe two.
Nicolas

Eh guys ! You wondered if your messages could have a real influence on the content of the book?
This is a message that I've just received from VOG :
"VOG members are working on a few more complex models ( from this list @ the Khan's )"

I think that you should only publish works that have not yet been published. It would be much more exciting! So i think Nguyen's chef rat shouldn't be in there... Just my view.

These are DEFINITELY a long shots but since you said could post, why not?
Adam Tran's Velociraptor Skeleton

This model inspired me into folding complex origami. Awesome but I highly doubt this will get placed in a book...
oh and the other one's Dao Cuong Quyet's Fallen angel

Once again, long shots.
But as for one that could be possible...oh!

I love his flowers, they always come out so realistic!

Good point.....but like I said. LONG shot.
Honestly, I can't really imagine these ever having their cps drawn.
LET ALONE diagrams. It's just something that I really really hope for, but will probably never arrive.
Now to spiel about the reason why I chose these (ignoring this is recommended):
The reason why I brought these two up is that there are very few origami modular creatures or people, aside from T.Rex Skeleton by Issei Yoshino and his other skeletons, that really utilize the multi-square method. I just love modulars like that, mainly because the symmetric modulars feel quite tedious* to me, where as in a skeleton or a angel there are more of a variety of folds, each with there own challenge. Ok, granted you could argue that some pieces are repeated multiple times too, but for actual reasons that really couldn't be avoided. (2 wings, 5 tail bones...etc etc) That's why I chose these.
*=(Fold a unit through the instructions. Repeat __ times. Stick together two units. Repeat __ times. Put the formed unit pieces into the final model. The end.)
