New Nicolas Terry Book from VOG!

Post by bethnor »

what do you think will be in there?

i would guess it will probably recycle at least a handful of nguyen cung huong's designs (chef rat, water buffalo). no way there are going to be diagrams for the towmater... right?

i would love it if some of quyet's designs got in there (his vampire!), but i somehow doubt it.

anyone heard anything? i know terry's twitter will bring updates regularly.

I've known about this book for quite a while now... But not much info. Cuong's Elephant will be in there though.

Thanks for your interest in the book.
Yes, some Nguyen cuong huong and Quyet's models will be inside the book.
2/3 of models have been fixed. We are working now on the rest 1/3 of book and we are going to choose the last models this week.

If you have big wishes to see some models in the book, it's time to tell us !

Nicolas

I would assume that D. C. Quyet's modular models are out of the question, correct?
H. T. Quyet's fox is definitely my favorite, followed closely by T. T. Hieu's Archangel, but that one too is probably in the stratosphere with regards to feasibility.

Can we expect the usual release window of fall-winter of his year, seeing as the other books were released at about that same time?

And this!

And some of Giang Dinh's Models too.

They're all relatively simple, but really appealing!

I like Ori_Q's mammoth, cat and mouse and Dao Cuong Quyet's spectacle bear

Nothing to do with VOG but I would actually like Sunburst to have a book next! His/her designs are fantastic!

I would also like to see his Tow Mater, but I guess there is a low chance for that...

Ooh, this book should be real interesting as there is bound to have some really complex models in there (and boxpleating  )
I'd like to see :
Pteranodon, butterfly, scorpion and tortoise by Nguyen
Sauropod (mostly this one) by Tran Trung Hieu
Cuong's centipede
And any boxpleating figure would satisfy me, really.
