It's practically all CGI'ed - if the comment about the cost of production is true, it'll back this up.

Dunno about the production, but on the origami-l Robert Lang just posted a fascinating message about his marathon 7 day folding experience for this commercial. It should start appearing on TV in February, if all goes according to schedule.
