I finished drawing my diagrams, but I am still unsure about one thing. Do the diagrams have to fit inside the border shown in the template, or will they just resize your diagrams to fit inside the border?

My guess is that they provide a template for people to fit their diagrams inside, because they don't want to do the work themselves afterwards. So yes, the diagrams should fit inside the border.

Regarding Inkscape: I have made my own template based on the directions of JOAS. I can send you those. They should be fine because my Hummingbird was published...

It would be great if you could send me the Inkscape template. I think I sized the diagrams right, but I just want to be sure. Are you going to send it through e-mail? Thanks in advance.

My guess would be to contact JOAS directly about submitting diagrams.

And if anyone would be kind enough to diagram one of my models for me to submit, I'll be forever grateful haha.

I would have to say my Pegasus, if you're seriously interested. There are 70-some steps though.
I could send you the sketched diagrams.

PM me your email and I'll send you the PDF.

Now to get back on topic: I've been thinking about contacting JOAS in regards to hopefully getting one of my crease patterns published in a Tanteidan magazine. Any requests for a specific model?

Sorry to bring back a dead topic, but this really interests me. I'd really like to submit a model to the convention book, or the magazine, even, at some point in the future. Does anyone know how?

watch the Origami house facebook and there will be a call for diagrams in the May time frame.

Make sure the diagrams are good, tested, and ready to go. They get a lot of submissions, so best of luck. If you dont get in, just keep trying. You can also watch here, http://origami.gr.jp/

does someone know about the date when this year's content of the tanteidan convention book will be published?

historically, they release the contents only a few days before the convention, so at least for not another ~ 2 weeks or so.
