Chesslo, what do you mean you need a membership?

You just need to go to the server and locate the channel #origami

The quickest way to accomplish this is to go to and input that you want to go to channel #origami

There are various IRC clients with much better interfaces. I use a Mac, and Colloquy is the best IRC client for Mac.

You don't need any membership. You could join #chesslo if you wanted. Probably wouldn't be anyone for you to talk to there though.

It seems the address changed to Here you just choose a username and the channel origami. You don't need any registration.
I'll change the links in the previous posts.

I like the Rizon chat the best. There are always people in there, and sometimes they even talk to you! Just today me, Anna, and Ben chatted for quite a while about a few things.

I think we should create a pool, let everyone vote.
Then we´ll see which option is most popular, and everyone could gather there!

Someone who knows how to create such a pool should do it. For great justice!

I'd love to find a live-chat to participate in.

If it isn't built into the forums here, there are plenty of free polling tools on the net (such as and the free level of PollDaddy should be enough for the number of responses this kind of poll would generate. What are the options we are choosing between?

I much prefer the Rizon IRC chat since I'm on IRC anyway much of the time. I'm usually logged in to the chat but may not be at my computer to reply.

After a couple of years away I'm now back to regularly idling in #Origami on
If you drop by there you're likely to find me logged in, but I can't guarantee that I'll actually be at my computer though.
