Hello,
I'm in need of some paper to fold a few models by David Brill (specifically, the horse, lion, lioness, and cub). Unfortunately, they all require large paper (A2...about 24 by 17 inches) that is relatively stiff.
I have tried to use brown wrapping paper, but it's too thin and the horse can never stand up.
I need something that is relatively cheap and locally available. Any ideas?
Large paper

You could glue a two sheets of brown paper together and see if that's sufficient; if not, keep adding layers until you have something that works.
Alternatively, you could try backing the brown paper with heavy aluminium foil. This gets you something fairly strong and sturdy, with the advantage that you can shape the foil however you wish.
