I'm sure using food ingredients as folding mediums have been discussed before...

The site author folded tsuru's using Wonton wrappers, then deep fried them to make crunchy tsuru croutons for an asian salad.
Hmmm.... maybe we can take this one step further. It may be possible to put a little meat stuffing in the body part of the crane just after you pull the wings. (Assuming the wonton wrapper doesn't rip after you do that.)

Hmmm... wonton wrappers are about as thick as cardboard. To fold the ancient dragon, you'd need an even bigger sheet of wonton wrapper just to compensate for its thickness. Say....the size of half a tennis court, hehehe...
Then, you'd have to fold it in a sauna room to prevent the wonton wrapper from drying and cracking.
If you can do that, you'd be in the Guinness Book of Records!
