okay the title gives it away just say who is your favorite band or favorite song or could be both.

I don't have a favorite band I like a lot of bands but I will list the ones that I like a lot.

right now i'm thinking of the ending of the rocky horror picture show... or some other rather obscure movie soundrack... the "each man kills the thing he loves" in a fassbinder's, that wacky duet in delicatessen, the bomber's addio in dr.strangelove...

I really doubt anybody here listens to Minus the Bear or the Crystal Skulls, independent bands from Seattle. There's too many songs to actually pick from.

But as for more popular bands, I like:

'The Pioneers' by Bloc Party (UK)
'Pacific Theme' by Broken Social Scene (Canada)
'Starlight' by Muse (UK)
'Breakthrough' by Modest Mouse (Washington)
'Race for the Prize' by The Flaming Lips (Oklahoma)
