My favorite band is Marilyn Manson.

@co2airhead
You like (m)Obscene?! I thought that all of his work in Golden Age of Grotesque was pretty mediocre. :?

Well it's really difficult to narrow it down to a favorite so I had to just pull the bands that occur most in my playlist.
In no particular order...

Beatles
Doors
Bob Dylan
Grateful Dead
Simon and Garfunkel
Cat Stevens
Boston
Smashing Pumpkins
Nightwish
Sonata Arctica

And there are a few artists from Japan I like from watching animes back in the day...

Yoko Kanno
Yuki Kajiura
Joe Hisaishi

So yeah, there's not really a theme here, but I especially respect those who are able to cover a lot of genres, i.e. not everything they create sounds the same. Yoko Kanno and the Beatles are good examples.

I heart beatles songs, especially ' still my guitar is slowly weeping'
I'm also likin' abit of phil collins, especially ' behind the lines'

My music taste may seem a little old for a 12 year old but what the heck
