I massivly played diablo 1 and played diablo 2 for a very long time. I really enjoyed both of them, but since I'm a little bit old-school (still playing Angband, which is a very good Rouge-Clone) I'm not the biggest fan of 80% graphics 20% gameplay. and because I played pen&paper roleplaying games for 15 years, I have a very ambivalent attitude to computer roleplaying games. In fact, I never saw a good one... maybe my demands are too big to be satisfied by a predefined scenario of a computer?!.

never saw a good roleplaying game?
Well, I kinda understand you. I demand a lot from role playing games. The more side quests, the better. I hate lame story and dialogues.
There are some good RPGs out there. Diablo 1 is considered as one of the best RPGs of all time. Fable is great too.
I tried searching for Diablo 1 & 2 in game stores, but couldn't find them. Instead, I bought Fallout 3 and Mass Effect!! Fallout 3 is amazing. Except for the poor character animations, I'm quite satisfied. Haven't tried Mass Effect, though.
