I can drive my dad's tractor :) ....
No, I can apply for my license when I am 16, in a little over 100 days! That is, unless I can't before going a certain amount of time without having a seizure, which would really stink, since I have Childhood Epilepsy.
What'll be funny is if I can get my license before my 18-year-old sister. She got a permit once, and barely used it at all. I on the other hand, feel much more driven ( ) to get my license.

I'm actually licensed to drive:
- car
- motorboat
- sailboat

Driving a sailboat is my favourite :)

Quite hard, because I've choosen to get the boat driving licence with no limits.
It means that I can drive any kind of boat (both sailboat and mortorboat) at any distance from the shore. The only limit I have is the lenght of boat. Max 25 meter.
For this license you are requested to be able to read, use, draw and calculate courses (quickly and easly). Since they are all vectorial computing they are not so simple (my scientific school study has helped me with this).
Also all the rules and signs and priority sistem are a wide section that you have to memorize. But it is not as difficult as becoming skilled with charts.

Practice is instead very fun and so you can learn it very quickly.

I have been busy with this for about 7 months (3 months for the school, 1 month for the practice and 3 months waiting for the call for the final examination by the official port authority).

If you want to buy your own boat, yes.
Otherwise to rent a boat (for a day) it is not so expensive.

I took the driving license together with a friend of mine, just because we wished to rent a sailboat for a week for holiday, but at the end since we live on a very big lake, and since we have found a really good bargain, and we had got one (btw HERE some pics )

How the heck are you suppose to fish when the boat is moving? The fish will see a worm moving at 40 miles an hour and will be like "What the hell is going on?!"
I've fallen down, and I can't get up.
