Actually my number was 7...maybe by coincidence.
But the vegetable was cucumber .
Mine was exactly the same! Cucumber, and the number seven!! :D

It didn't work. I picked 11 and Habanero peppers (just because I had a bad experience in the past with them)

DUDE! I've just read it and I got both 7 and carrot. For these things I alway pick 7, so I thought I wouldn't get caught....wow.

Hey, I've found another trick. Have a go at this one:

A quick test of intelligence
Read this sentence:

FINISHED FILES ARE THE RE-
SULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIF-
IC STUDY COMBINED WITH
THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS.

Now count the F's in that sentence.

Scroll down

ANSWER:

There are six F's in the sentence.

A person of average intelligence finds three of them.

If you spotted four, you're above average.

If you got five, you can turn your nose at most anybody.

If you caught six, you are a genius

There is no catch. Many people forget the "of"s'. The human brain tends to see them as V's and not F's.

dude that is so weird.... is it because of the phonetics of the word? or like some more primal language thing?

I have no idea....but as it says the brain sometimes sees the 'f's as 'v's, maybe because 'of' sounds like 'ov'.

I found all 6. Yay! I'm a genius! Luckily I double checked...3 times. Now where's my Nobel Prize?
I've fallen down, and I can't get up.

see that leads to an intereting observation...... "initially" people dont see "of" but after rechecking you can observe anything you want. so the point is, it is also human nature to just take a given set of instructions, follow them and give your reply instantly. while some others who may be on the crazier side of mortaldom...origamists perhaps from to many diagrams...will go over the instructions many times to make sure the instructions are processed correctly....hmmm interesting
