Trading Card Games

Post by phoenyx »

Hey I was just wondering because a lot of you seem to play video games and read and many other activities I enjoy aside from origami, do any of you guys play trading card games? ex. Yu-Gi-Oh, Magic the Gathering  , Pokemon, etc.

I myself play and collect magic the gathering(mtg)

maybe we could play the game online if any of you play.
Take time to talk like a pirate today.

I played magic for quite a long time but gave all my cards (around 500) away as a present since I didn't play for years.
I also played the Simpsons cardgame for more than 3 years every wednesday.
I also played a couple of other collecters cardgames like star trek, pokemon and a lovecraft cardgame of which I can't remember the name right now (myth?).
but I'm not playing anymore.
although it's not a collecter game I HIGHLY reccomend the game "Coppertwaddle" (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/ ... pertwaddle), its an amazing cardgame of luck and stragegy. One of the best cardgames I've played in my whole life.

I play the pokemon TCG quite a lot. It is nicknamed "flippymon" because of all the coin flipping.

I used to play a chilean TCG, "Mitos y Leyendas" but the company went bankrupt and they don't make them anymore. (obviously)
Now I want to sell my old cards, but I don't think anyone would want them. (Maybe a collector?)

I play magic the gathering casually. I also have pokemon cards but never bothered to learn the rules :P Hopefully they gained some value with the years.

When vey little, (years ago now) the only person I could ever play pokemon with was someone much younger than me. I never won at pokemon for if i had won, the other player would have cracked up!
