Just wondering, does anyone here study latin? I've been taking it for a year now. If you do, what kind of stuff are you translating?

I studied Latin for 5 years in secondary school. It's a quite interesting language, although I must say that Ancient Greek is far more enjoyable than Latin.

As for translating, I read texts by Ovidius, Catullus, Plinius Minor, Seneca (letters to Lucilius) and various other things.

I totally disagree! I've studied both Ancient Greek and Latin, (greek 3 years latin 4) and I must say, I enjoyed Latin a great deal more. Maybe it's just me but because im used to like this lettertype i understand latin far better then greek.
