I think a link like that should be alright since I've clearly stated what it is, so people won't go there without knowing what they're getting into.
And if it isn't allowed, then surely a moderator will just remove the link from my post.

Did you know we have a little origami group here in Sydney? I formed it after the meeting a couple of other Sydney folders at Folding Australia 2009.
We meet monthly in Chatswood.

Yeah, Sydney is pretty barren, but our small group has survived these past couple of years.
We meet in the food court of The Mandarin Centre.
This month's meeting is planned for the 22nd.
If you PM me your email address I can add you to my list. Email is how we tend to organise it all.

We're kind of cluttering up this thread that's meant to be about drawing. I wonder if we can get a mod to move these last few posts over into the a thread that I'm making in the Clubs and Websites section?
