MIDP 2.0 is a specification for the use of Java on mobile devices. The only programming language that will be compatible with MIDP 2.0 is Java.Harpseal wrote:Does anyone know any MIDP 2.0 compatible versions of any programming language? I never have much time on a computer, and i know this is sad, but i want to program on my phone! If anyone knows any MIDP 2.0 (specific type of java) versions of a programming language, linking to them would really be good, thanks!
Ps, i think this is my 1000th post!
From Wikipedia:
There are several different ways to create MIDP applications: code can be written in a plain text editor, or one can use a more advanced IDE such as NetBeans, IntelliJ (with bundled Java ME plugin), or Eclipse (with plugins such as EclipseME) which has a user interface for graphically laying out any forms you create, as well as providing many other advanced features not available in a simple text editor.
