Long time no see, my friends.
Before starting the new semester in March, I was recently working on ways of using the traditional Bird Base. Of course, in the early times of my designs, like 'whip spider', I was already studying on those techniques but wasn't really happy with the results.
So, as one of the result of my weeks work, here is my new design folded from pure traditional Bird Base.
Chocobo Eater! from 'Final Fantasy'
---------------
24 teeth, backbone, shoulders, toes, every thing is in the model..
Well, because of the bad quality of the paper, the model didn't go 'well' as I constructed..but.. I guess it's fine as long as you guys like it :)
Hope you guys like it!!!

I folded Baltorigamist's Darwin's Beetle, from cp with double mc tissue 45cm square. I quite enjoyed the challenge of the box pleating and shaping the appendages.

Thanks for folding it! Any way you can reupload the picture? I'm curious to see your result.

Cool! :3 Thanks again for folding it!
Out of curiosity, did you use the CP that had the 128th pleats? Cus that's the old version--the new one is all 64ths with some fun stretches. : D

I think it was 2.1, 64 grid apart from the teeth. I was wondering if you could swap the antennae and lower jaws as the antennae are quite thick, or if there's a way to reorganize the flaps when folding.

Hello

I designed a scaled Dragon.
One uncut square of paper.
Kraft 100x100 cm
64x64 grid (for the scales 128 grid)
the paper was way to thick for this model (80 gsm),but it worked.
it took around 10 hours to fold and even more to shape and to design this.
it was really hard to fold, but I´m happy, that I made it.

Hi there,
This is a Cat design I'm working on, I'll have to do a refold once I made some new paper:

Still trying too get the best cat design, they seem to be difficult in origami.

And an old fold/design of mine:

This I'm posting because....
Simon Powel has created a Youtube video of the goat I designed, it can be found here:

Please subscribe, he makes very good tutorials.
