Lang's Bull Moose (from Origami Design Secrets)
(The camera on my phone is a bit rubbish)
I folded this from a 60cm sheet of origami-shop's "Tissue-foil" (which isn't really tissue-foil) with the brown side out and the "shiny" side (which you can see at the front of the legs where I got a bit of paper-creep) on the inside.
Not bad for four hours folding.

Thank you! The frog is my 4th or 5th attempt at that model, and the first with high-quality paper rather than cheap kami.
Here's my fold of the Hercules Beetle from Lang's Insects II. I love this deluxe-washi, it's like folding chocolate!
Again, apologies for the dodgy photos. I should ask my wife to photograph my models, she's a much better photographer than me.

Re: markfiend
Do you mean Coelophysis? It took about an hour and a half, I think.

Re: markfiend
I was finally able to make this model a few weeks ago. Took me twice the time haha. Nice fold!markfiend wrote:Do you mean Coelophysis? It took about an hour and a half, I think.
O you might want to turn the flash off on your camera. don't know if your using your mobilephone to take pictures, but turning it off, and taking the picture in daylight works better... or at least it did for me.

Yes I think you're right, thanks. All photos here have been taken with my phone; the tree-frog and the Coelophysis were taken without flash and I think they look much better.roodborst wrote:O you might want to turn the flash off on your camera. don't know if your using your mobilephone to take pictures, but turning it off, and taking the picture in daylight works better... or at least it did for me.
Re: markfiend
Cerberus, folded from 35cm tant, designed by John Montroll
I think I could do some more shaping on this if I wet the paper. I ripped another sheet of the tant I bought trying to fold something else so I've been experimenting and it seems like tant will be very good for wet-folding and/or wet finishing.
Again, a dodgy photo on my phone, sorry!
