Thank you! I finally have some time again, so hopefully I can get more models diagrammed and photographed soon.

Wow, I almost made it the whole year without diagramming! Luckily, the holiday season gave me some free time. This is the "closed" version of a new water lily model. I'm working on an "open" version, too, but it may never be finished. Diagrams for this particular flower and lily pad are available at my blog.

Beautiful. I like it.

I know the effort you have put it. How much time did you spend?

Thanks, Kundalini. The models are not very complex, so it only takes a few minutes to fold a water lily and a couple minutes to fold a lily pad. It's the things you don't see in the photo that take up the most time: coloring the paper before folding, setting up and editing the photographs, etc. Diagramming these models took several hours, or a few days spread out.

I am designing recently, and now i am able to understand the great effort to get a new design.

Ah yes, I forgot to mention the time it takes to design something in the first place. Sometimes that is never ending, but it is also the funnest part. :)

Been working on this rose for a while, and it's changed form a few different times, but I finally pinned down a simple version to diagram. Sorry there is no "put together" photo this time - just the model itself...

I'd much rather be thinking of spring right now, but here is a new leaf model in autumn colors.
