I folded myself, from a 32x32 grid. It was quite challenging to get color changers on the jacket, pants, and hair. Additionally, there are only four fingers, and it looks like I'm shirtless even though I intended to make it look like a white tshirt.

I recently designed an entirley new cat with a new 22,5 degrees structure. This is a "draft" fold.

Here is my penguin, which uses a waterbomb tessellation to give the model a round belly. It took me about an hour to design and an hour to fold.

As if one penguin wasn't enough, I folded 13 more! (I'm out of black paper now)

ORIGAMI: HAND SHADOW PUPPETS!

Image

Designed and Folded by me from a single uncut square sheet of 25 cm tracing paper
Finished size ~ 7 cm
16x16 grids boxpleating

As a kid I used to enjoy playing with these hand shadow puppets, in the candlelight, when the electricity was out XD Dark but Fun times...

Thought it'd be interesting to combine two art forms. Hope you guys like it!
And wish you all a very Happy New Year :)

Very original and clever Neleesh K :D. The rabbit and deer look amazing! To be honest, there's something I think isn't working in the bird hand shadow puppet .

Thanks Gerardo! I know.. :( Maybe the fingers needed to be more closer to each other. It's the 1st model I tried in the series, and I was too tired to correct it and take the pics again
