Designed by me for the May design challenge. From a 24x24 grid. Somewhat inspired by Jens Kober's baby dinosaur. Folded from low quality 25x25cm paper.
ImageYoda by Folderp, on Flickr
A follow-on from my previous yoda on a chair model. This one is based on thirds instead of quarters, although the head is produced in exactly the same way. Folded from some low quality 25x25cm paper.

Gecko 1.5, my design. Just a 22.5 degree design, I've made some changes in the structure of the head and folded the body a bit more 3d. Might make a cp for this as it's not too complex

Some of you may remember one of the first things I posted of my designs was this squid vs whale model, which I designed over 4 years ago and folded with some large kami. I decided to refold it, no structural modifications, but with some duo tissue foil. It turned out much better.
Also, looking back at my old design, I see that my main goal was to fit the tree diagram at the expense of ease of foldibility; and I realize now that the trouble was unnecessary as it made no visible difference in the final model.

I also got a flickr, which idk why I hadn't earlier, started using an actual camera again (flickr calls it a point and shoot but it's pretty good anyways) except this time, I actually know how to use it

The goal of these three design projects was to crate a pop-up card that had additional motion after AFTER the card was opened \. These pop-ups are folded from rectangles (including the card base) and are constructed and attached by folding and without glue.

To celebrate the year of the rat, I designed a rat (of course).
ImageRat by Folderp, on Flickr
Folded from a 21cm square of printer paper.

This model has one of the oddest bases of any model I've folded, not uniaxial and with a very odd method for procuring the front legs, and two flaps sticking out the top which become the back. It works though, and I'm happy with the result. I'll attempt to create a rough crease pattern or something like that to show just how odd the base really is. Not my cleanest design ever, but like I said, it works.
