Okay people of the forum, I pose the question: can we all scour the net and pool our knowlege to find EVERY Origami Dragon there is (links and pictures are highly welcome).

as far as i know, a wyvern is similar to a dragon, but wyverns do not have forelegs (or arms) and often have fingers around their middle wing joint.

this is jake crowleys wonderful design. as for diagrams, i am unsure.

this next link is also one of jake's designs, (an earlier one)

i think you get my point of how to differentiate between wyverns and dragons.

we need more of these kind of things to be made more known, as dragons (and similar species) are becoming a major influence on origami. i am trying to compile a list of every dragon origami dragon known, as just the dragons (and similar species) in origami are almost a sepaerate hobby for me altogether from general origami.

well, i beleive a wyrm, or wurm (these may be different creatures actually), is a more snake-like creature, (so it would most likely be folded from a long sheet like a ryu-zin) and a drake (i think) is just a smaller, stubbier version of a dragon.

As far as I know, the ryu-zin is folded from a square and not from a rectangle.

I make Dragons most of the time. usually because nothing else appears from the paper. I have a few that I am still working on with large amounts of detail. I may post pictures sometime.

Is it possible to change a thread topic / title? If so, I vote we change this one to "Here be Dragons"!

If this makes no sense to you, then Here be dragons!
