And the second comes soon after:

I did my best to make these videos someone entertaining while also sneaking in lessons about crease patterns and shaping in general, as well as some math ;)

I got some good stuff I've been working on for a while
Remember the pikmin designs from a while ago? They're back but with better paper.

Also decided to fold two of them to be life sized, meaning 4 cm tall. I took a 5cm sheet of double tissue and divided it into a 32 grid. At first I thought I'd go insane but it actually wasn't that bad.

And I got photobombed:

Lastly, if you want to fold these too, I made a youtube tutorial that shows the base and all the variations. I tried to make it entertaining at the same time (you'll soon see what I mean, just watch a bit of it), so I hope you enjoy!

Dodo Skeleton, folded from a 40cm sheet of single tissue.

Also, idk if I've posted it here or not, but all of my (good) crease patterns can be found in this google drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/1/fold ... leSHoDd7z2

I'm extremely amazed! This is incredible NeverCeaseToCrease! Plus, it's so far from many of your squarish boxpleated models .

Congratulations! You should share diagrams or something. I bet a good number of people will also love your new model.

Thanks Gerardo! This model was definitely a lot different, I think using single tissue helped a lot.

I'm not very good at drawing diagrams, but I may consider making a video tutorial in the future, or at least for the ribs. The rest is probably easy enough for people to fold from the crease pattern.

I agree with Gerardo - this is one of your best! I may have to fold it

Great models! Some of your previous pics are down though... Impressive shaping! Your models are some of the best on the forum, in my opinion!

Thanks, asa! Yeah, some of the older photos are down since I was using sketchier image upload sites before using flickr. Maybe I'll go put them back up some time; if you really want to see the old stuff, I have a highlight called "archeology" on my instagram: https://www.instagram.com/theplantpsychologist/
And yeah, Fearless Flourish included by pikmin in one of his videos comparing how people improved over time. The first time I folded them with kami (idk if the photo is still up here) it was pretty bad, but when I did it again with tissue foil it turned out much better.
As for the stone golem, it's definetely not as hard as ryujin 3.5 ;)

Anyways, here's my most recent design: a viperfish, designed for the monthly design challenge on the discord. The topic was "deep sea," meaning well below the level that sunlight reaches (about 1000m). This is a viperfish, which lives about 2,800 meters below sea level.

I drew up a pretty thorough cp, although there's so many m/v errors it's not much better than a black/white cp... just message me if you want to fold it but get stuck.

You may remember the penguin from a few years ago, but I made some new ones and also made a youtube tutorial:

What grid is it based on? It looks tessellation-based, I think I may be able to fold it (I folded Gilad's Peacock cp, Yay). Your penguins looks nice!

Thanks! You can see on the left of the screenshot it says the grid is 32, although much of the body is on a 16 grid. I wouldn't think of it much as a tessellation since it's just a bunch of reverse folds (it looks like the magic ball tesellation but is different), watch the video to see what I mean.

Thanks! I will attempt to make that grid...Haven't had much success when trying to fold 40 or 48. The model looks like it was designed very well. Also M=Blue, Correct?
