Replace the %40 in front of the gmatthe2 with the @ symbol to get the website to work.

Grace, I will give away my fold of Fold Flat Gift Bag. I wish to translate the name to Spanish for that. Might you know Spanish? How would you translate the name? If qyou don't know Spanish, can you please explain to me what do you mean with "fold flat" in the name?

I think Bolsa de regalo aplanable, would be it's translation, but I need to know what you mean in order to be sure.

Thanks in advance!

You can fold the model flat to be put in an envelope. You can see what I mean at the end of my video tutorial for this model.

I do not know how that would be translated.

Thanks Grace. I see that you've used a different name for the model in different mediums. Which name do you prefer?

OK, then Triangular Gift Bag it is :D. That would be Bolsa de Regalo Triangular in Spanish.

Thanks!

I have made a new diagram for an easy fish napkin holder, which locks tightly and can be adjusted in size.

This is the first time I have really explored making origami with rectangular paper rather than square. Other than paper planes that is.

I was aiming for a fish card in the same style as the crane card this was inspired by, however I am not sad to have made a tightly locking napkin holder instead.

I was going to post this on the origami abstract challenge, however it is more humour than abstract.

ImageSpinning top by Grace Matthews, on Flickr

An easy spinning top that requires one piece of paper. This is one of the very first models I designed and like most it has gone through it's own transformations. The original model required two pieces of paper the handle which was a fortune teller with the flaps shortened and a 'cap' to go over the end to allow it to spin. I was using very soft beautiful paper to design my models and when I tried to repeat my model using stiffer more everyday paper the 'cap' no longer fit and in my adjustments to try and fix this I discovered this version.

I am posting this now as it is one of the easier fun models for people to try.
