Very well done on the snail to both of you! I am assuming that no CP exists then for the snail. Beautiful model, though I can imagine that it is tedious and somewhat boring to fold as has been mentioned. The result is very nice though. It really is too bad that Joisel doesn't do more diagrams or CP. He is definately unique among folders with what he is designing.

Anermak, you're right. The shell I did was different. A few years earlier I did it the way you did, but when I refolded it last year, I changed it, because I liked it better. It makes the spiral stand out more.

(I made a rough crease pattern of it, to be made from mono-color paper (I think you can tell how to make it show both sides properly). PM me if you'd like to see.)

I love the bugs. Especially the wings on the regular chortippus and how they come out from underneath another flap. But that paper does not do justice to your designs.

I know, that papers are worse, than at me-to not find :? ... But to this all that at me is. Origami for Russia very new kind of art and in Russia cannot be found a real origami-paper :( ... It is a usual tracing-paper for plotting and to put from it origami extremely difficultly and painfully , constantly bleed fingers, and many details of models to make practically
it is impossible  ...
But art demands victims, i hope sometime I will have an opportunity to fold from a paper from which fold the present masters of origami
