Latest designs!
I've been busy with work over Christmas and the New year, so haven't had too much time for folding. However, I've managed to put together a few new designs. Crease patterns may follow on my website shortly!
1) Winged Goliath Beetle
Most displayed Goliath beetle with wings extended have their carapaces closed. In designing this model, I used less paper for the carapace, and so had enough left over to make a colour change for the stripy thorax. The base is not box-pleated.
2) Unicorn 2008
I've modified my old unicorn design by adding a few more strip grafts, and having less redundant paper in the middle of the model. This has allowed me to give it a 'closed back' type appearance, but to still allow a colour change for the tail and mane.
Enjoy,
Fishgoth

Right, hand scribbled CPs are ready, if anyone wants them. There is also another 'Reasons I hate Hounslow' on the website, if anyone is interested...

Right. Now a couple more. No CPs for these, but I've written my design thoughts on http://fishgoth.com The first is a Pit Fiend model, the second is my version of a Chimera. Oh, for some bigger paper - the final model for the chimera is only about 15 cm long, and bits of foil are visible...

Dang, your Pit Fiend is awesome. The color change is perfect. I tried designing something kind of like that before but it had gigantic pecs and horns instead of wings... and it didn't come out nearly as well. I'd love to give a CP of it try... are you making one?

I really dig the Goliath beetle. The great thing about these beetles is the fact they don't have large antennae to worry about...
I'd love to see the CP of this one.
And: to me the legs are fine... if you look at most beetles, the distance second and and the first pair of legs is a bit larger than between the second and third pair of legs.
Kudos!!!
