This is my fave piece so far. It is very simple, but I like it. This is my Chihuahua 1.0. Following Jared Needle's and the forum member's advice, I started folding other people pieces from CP and diagram, and those techniques really came in handy.
This piece is quite similar to Andrew Hudson's Hoopoe as I used his techniques. Thanks Andrew!

I like the proportions. It looks like you could change the personality in various ways with different types of shaping.

Perhaps I missed this in other posts, but what division of the paper is that square in the top right? 1/5?

Fold the angle bisector from the bottom corner, and where it touches the diagonal, make the other diagonals that give you the right place for that bird base.
