Re: Grizzly man
all of those are great will you relese a cp or diagram
Re: Grizzly man
thank you, trouble. may be there'll be a cp of the devil base. with being a boxpleated model it makes no sense to me to draw a step by step diagram for it.
here's my red oni with his new instrument - a five stringed koto (very traditional and not so much to fold as with 13 or even 25 strings ...):

Re: Grizzly man
Nice oni! I love the detail on the instrument and the cleanness of the folds.

Re: Grizzly man
Fantastic work! Even though I like all of your models, I find the Samurai, Monk and Geisha to be especially... mesmerizing. Great folds!

Re: Grizzly man
@28lorelei and CyberSphere - thanks for your kind words.
@orislater - i'll see if i manage to post pictures of the folded bases for the oni/devil and the josh-bear. fine that you've got the shamisen right. please post a picture of the finished model. did you just a wet or a mc finish to it?

Re: Grizzly man
here it is:
i did an mc finish but kind of screwed up the box part.
(the paper dried in the wrong position and i cant fix it) if i ever try it again it will be better
btw i noticed you use kraft paper for a lot of your stuff. would you be interested in sending/selling me any?

Re: Grizzly man
I've attempted the Josh-bear today, and I got stuck as well, it would be very nice if you could post pictures of the folded base as you mentioned. If I succeed, I will of course post pictures!

Re: Grizzly man
thanks a lot, sebastien! i think there's still a lot of creative potential in the traditional bases ...
